At Sigma Rehab, we offer the same high-quality, client-centred care whether you are topping up Medicare rebates, using Private Health cover, or paying self-funded. Our team of therapists will work with you to design a plan that reflects your needs, goals, and budget.
Pricing
Our standard rate per session is $250.
This fee includes:
50 minutes of face-to-face therapy
Session preparation and planning
Clinical documentation
Development of therapy resources tailored to your needs
Rebate Options
Medicare
Medicare
If you have a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan, you may be eligible for up to five Allied Health sessions per calendar year. These can cover services such as Occupational Therapy & Speech Pathology.
- A referral from your GP is required (usually arranged after concerns have persisted for six months or longer).
- Your GP will determine which services and how many sessions are most suitable.
- Please provide us with a scanned copy of your referral before your first appointment so we can invoice you correctly.
Private Health
Private Health
Rebates for Occupational Therapy & Speech Pathology depend on your provider and level of cover.
- Contact your health fund to confirm your entitlements.
- If you’d like us to bill through your private health policy, let us know and we’ll apply the correct item numbers.
- Rebates cannot be processed on the spot — you will receive an invoice that you can use to claim online or in-store.
- Please note: invoices can only be billed to either Medicare or Private Health, not both.
💡 Many clients use their Medicare referral first, then switch to Private Health rebates once those sessions are completed.
Self-Funded
Self-Funded
If you don’t have access to Medicare or Private Health rebates, the standard session fee applies.
When you complete our referral form, we’ll contact you to understand your needs and make sure you receive the best possible outcome.
